Sailor Jack Consignment has been outfitting families with quality ‘new to you’ clothing and gear for over 14 years. We are a proud part of the Vic West community and because we have been in business so long, we have built up a huge amazing group of consignors who regularly drop off sensational brands making it possible to add well over 100 items daily giving our customers a fresh and fabulous selection. We are so lucky to have the best customers in Victoria who enjoy weekly shopping trips for something for babies, kids, moms and moms to be and we are excited to see your children shop at the store and grow over time.
Not everyone has a job they love…I can honestly say I love my job and I’m excited to go to work every day. I work with an amazing group of ladies who are just as passionate as I and we get to meet and visit with our shoppers and consignors all while spending our days surrounded by fabulous clothing and children’s/moms products. I have an amazing husband (Shawn) who makes it possible for me to put in the long hours needed to run a small business and still balance a young family. We have a grown son (Coltyn) who has flown the coop and are in the midst of adopting our 2 amazing foster daughters (5 & 8 years old).
Perhaps the most rewarding for me is donating to the local charity organizations. We currently donate regularly to The Cridge Young Parent Outreach Program, The Cridge Transition House, Victoria Pregnancy Centre and Compassionate Resource Warehouse and needy kids at schools in our community. Wherever there is a need, we are more than happy to help. If you have a charity you would like us to support please come in and speak with me.

July 3rd to 14th we are accepting summer and light back-to-school consignment: quality shorts, tops, light PJ’s, swim/sun wear and sandals. We’d love to see your outdoor toys and baby gear: playards (especially basic ones), gates, dining booster seats and ride on toys.
Please remember to sort your items thoroughly BEFORE arriving as we are unable to accept items showing any signs of wear. Please remove ALL Value Brands such as Walmart (George), Cherokee, Simply Basic, JOE and Carters (except PJ’s & sandals). Limited Old Navy is accepted but what sells best is GAP, Gymboree, active wear (Iviva, Nike, Adidas, Hurley, UnderArmor etc), Zara, Hatley, Tea, Wheat, Frugi and brands of equal value.
We can only accept 1 bag per month from each consignor, and just a reminder to everyone that your items hit the floor approximately 3 - 4 weeks from drop-off, which is why we are looking for your back-to-school items NOW.
Thank you for understanding.
Carefully select items you wish to consign making sure they are freshly laundered paying attention for stains, fading, broken zippers, missing buttons, pilling and any other signs of wear. Please fold neatly and place in 1 bag (max regular size garbage bag) Please ensure all toys & infant equipment are clean and complete with working batteries. These items need to be fully functional and recent (within 3 years and meet all safety standards).
Due to space constraints, we need to be highly selective and DO NOT ACCEPT value brands from Walmart (George, 725, Cherokee, Simply Basic) and very limited items from Carter/Oshkosh (PJ's only) and JOE Fresh. We accept name brand women's clothing as well... GAP and up.
Bring your seasonally appropriate items in the first 2 weeks of the month where we’ill sort and return anything we are unable to accept.
Your items will go out in order of arrival for the 8 week consignment period.
** You must call us during the consignment period if you wish to have any unsold items returned otherwise it is donated.
